A view from the second floor of the Waikiki Beach Walk, an upscale shopping mall just inland from Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. The whole area has been rejuvenated in the last four years. The older hotels were renovated or completely rebuilt into nicer and fancier units. The long exposure shows the effect of the wind on the blurry palms. I combined 3 images together to increase the apparent dynamic range using a technique called HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography.
