The Texas State Capitol is probably one of the most frequently photographed buildings in Austin. Maybe for that reason, I don't post many photographs of it. I took this image recently; it's a slightly different angle from the norm. I liked the warm glow of the afternoon light the I angled the composition to capture some of the rich green lawn at its base.
