Mayfield Park in West Austin is known for having peacocks that wander on the grounds. I had my wide-angle lens with me to primarily take landscapes at the park. I should have also brought a telephoto lens to capture up-close detail of these magnificent birds. While I was able to get fairly close with my 28mm equivalent lens, I ultimately like this "environmental portrait" of the Peacock in context of its surroundings.
