The entry arch at Fatehpur Sikri located some 23 miles west of Agra, on the city's outskirts. Started in 1569 by Akbar the Great, this UNESCO World Heritage Site became the capital city for the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585. The site, built of red sandstone, was the first of 3 UNESCO sites I visited in Agra, India. This is another frame within a frame composition. I also like how the road winds into the distance. I used my 90mm equivalent lens which compressed the scene so that the apparent distance between the arches was reduced.
