Taken this past weekend in the suburbs of Austin, Texas. It has been a record mild spring this year -- a very welcome breather before the hot Texas summers -- which comes with a vengeance. Live Oak trees in Austin, are almost evergreen. They drop their leaves on March but the new leaves appear almost immediately.
