As I was getting off the plane at DFW (Dallas-Fort Worth) Airport on a recent trip. I was attracted to the complex set of gauges and controls of the airplane. The photograph is from the cockpit of a MD-80. I asked the captain if I could take a photo since I didn't know if there were any regulations against taking cockpit photographs. He agreed and I captured a quick image with my Olympus E-PL1. I really would have like to take a super-wide angle HDR on tripod with my Canon 7D. I had the necessary equipment with me but alas I figured it would take too long to setup. I settled for a quick capture with my smaller Olympus setup.
