This photograph was taken about a year and a half ago during happy hour at a bar in Austin, Texas. It was shot with an 85mm lens at f1.8 to produce an extremely shallow depth of field. I thought the abstract feel of this image was a nice change of pace from the architectural images that frequently make in on to this blog. I find it fun to play with shallow DOF from time to time and I also like the soft reflection off the table and the dreamy feel of the image.

Dreamy Happy Hour Lights - Austin, Texas
